SonicTrain's "The Arena" Gamification Platform was an idea developed in 2012 by Tina Serio Saunders and Matt Scoles before either had heard of the term "Gamification".

As the idea of a game based cooperative training /marketing platform took shape our research began in earnest. We developed a firm understanding of what gamification is and what it can truly do for small companies who are struggling to compete for the attention of the young (or young at heart) audiences.
